Why You'll Love Sparkman's

Our No Artificial Hormone Approach*

Sparkman's Dairy has never used artificial hormones to alter the natural milk cycle of our cows. Now, as Sparkman's Cream Valley, we continue to take this approach now that we are using our own milk to produce dairy products right here on the farm.

Our All-Jersey Cows

What's the big fuss about “all-jersey” cows? Jersey cows are known for their higher calcium levels than other breeds. Milk from Jersey cows is also creamier due to the higher solids not fat content found in their milk. The solids not fat national average is 8.25 while our all jersey milk ranges from 9.48 to 9.92. These solids account for rich and flavorful milk, buttermilk, yogurt, ice cream, butter and cream.

And our freshness is noteworthy as well: milk taken from our cows at 2 a.m. is bottled and ready to go by Noon...only 10 hours later!

Top Notch Freshness and Quality

We believe our milk is of the highest quality and is the freshest milk you can get your hands on; if you want milk any fresher, you'll have to buy your own cow! In fact, our milk is state approved for a 21-day expiration date. What does that mean? In short, it means our milk isn't transported long distances and stored over the course of seven days or so prior to processing...Sparkman's milk is processed in our plant right on the farm and delivered to our various retail outlets.

Seriously, the high quality means you are consuming milk with no artificial hormones from all-jersey cows...in other words, you are pouring yourself one of nature's original health drinks. And taste, well, it's worth repeating...we will be suprised if you don't think our milk is the best you have ever tasted.

Our Milk Containers

Unfortunately, our supplier of biodegradable containers is no longer in business. We take our commitment to the environment seriously and will continue our stewardship of the land and its resources. Sparkman's Cream Valley encourages you to recycle our new plastic milk containers; please know that we are seeking another viable biodegradable option.
